Sewing Together

You have now crocheted all the pieces for the Spring MCAL.

This is a photo tutorial on how to sew together the MCAL.

Tip for sewing - for pieces that have color changes, turn the color changes towards the back of the body so they won’t be seen.

Step 1 - With your yarn needle, sew the remaining hole closed of piece G (the head/body piece).

Step 2 - With your yarn needle, sew each arm (pieces A and B) onto the side of the body, right below the head, about Round 20.

Step 3 - With your yarn needle, sew the legs (pieces C and D) onto the bottom of the body. The last round of piece G will be the center of the legs. Sew legs in a slight V shape.

Step 4 - Stuff muzzle (piece E) lightly. Sew onto the face, placing the last round right between the eyes.

Step 5 - Stuff tail (piece F). With your yarn needle, sew the tail onto the bottom back of the body.

Step 6 - With your yarn needle, sew the ears onto the top of the head. The first round of the head will be the center between the ears.

Step 7 - With a very long strand of Yarn Color A and your yarn needle you will make a nose and mouth on the muzzle.

Round 1 of the nose with be the bottom center of the slight v shape.
Completely fill in the v shape.

Then go over the top of the v 3-4 times.

Make a line going straight down from the center of the nose about half way to the bottom of the muzzle.

I hope you enjoyed this mystery crochet along!
