Beginner Crochet Pattern - Bookmark
I recently started a crochet class for kids, at the school I work at. I have been teaching very simple easy projects. Here's what we will be making tomorrow... a bookmark! :)

Bookmark Crochet Pattern
Chain 21
Row 1 ~
Skip the first chain, that is closest to the hook.
Single crochet in each chain
If you want to change colors, cut the yarn and tie the two colors together.
Row 2 ~
Chain 1, single crochet in each stitch across
If you want to change colors, cut the yarn and tie the two colors together.
Row 3 ~
Chain 1, single crochet in each stitch across

Chain 1, single crochet in each stitch across

Cut yarn, and fasten off.
Optional - you can cut pieces of yarn about 6 inches long (about the size of your hand),
and tie them to each end of the bookmark.
